Tinder is Casting Single Best Friends from Around the World to Star in its Dating Series “Double Date Island”

June 23rd, 2026 - Starting today, Tinder is searching for pairs of single best friends from around the world to take part in Double Date Island, a dating series inspired by Tinder's Double Date feature. Premiering exclusively on TikTok and produced by [Cowshed Studios and Studio 55/ITV Studios] the series will see duos head to the Mediterranean (Portugal) for dates, adventures and meeting other singles.

Double Date Island is a reality dating show in which duos of best friends are brought together to go on double dates, meet other pairs from around the world, and have the chance to experience moments of fun, spontaneous connections, all captured on camera. Designed for young adults, the concept is built around Tinder's Double Date feature; a lower-pressure, friendship-first approach to dating that proves dating can be more fun when you do it together.

The show is the living embodiment of Tinder's vision for singles to let go of the anxiety, overthinking and situationships that can play out in dating, and create a place where you show up as yourself, your bestie has your back, and the best things happen when you stop trying so hard.

Selected participants will take part in the reality show going on double dates and participating fully in production, set in an unscripted episodic format. Throughout their stay, they'll take part in dates, activities and challenges, rediscovering what fun and dating mean to them. Expect new connections and stories you'll be talking about long after Euro-summer ends.

The casting opens today and closes on the 28th of June, so head to the Tinder app, show up with your bestie, and apply together as a duo. This is an open and inclusive casting process and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Find the casting card in your profile stack, use the Swipe Right™ feature on the card, and tell us why you and your bestie are the duo the island's been waiting for.

To be eligible, both applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 to 30;
  • Be genuinely single;
  • Have an active verified Tinder account; and a Double Date profile with your bestie
  • Meet the eligibility requirements set out in the full Terms & Conditions.

Successful applicants will be added to a priority shortlist reviewed by the Tinder and Studio 55/ITV Studios casting team and may be required to complete further steps as part of the selection process. Being added to the shortlist does not guarantee your selection in Double Date Island.
